Met by Sarah the owner with a glowing smile and a friendly welcome. Sarah made us most welcome firstly making a nice warm drink with fresh home baked cakes..........just what we needed after our long journey. Sarah went through the guest house amenities, village amenities and showed us to our guest room. The room was cosy, spacious, clean and very... More

Stayed in the B&B for two nights after initially booking for one, very comfortable, warm and so friendly, what nice people ...lots of little "touches" like homemade cake and cookies, free dram, loads of books to read.... was just great

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you had an enjoyable stay. The homemade cake always goes down well after a day on the hill! Cheers, Al More

We stayed here (fourth year on the trot now) for an annual birdwatching trip. Sarah and Al couldn't have been friendlier and more welcoming. Coffee and tea was prepared for us when we arrived and she made some fruit cake for us. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and the beds are comfortable. Everything worked in the room as it... We had nicer and lovelier B&B during out trip trough Scotland. There was just the love missing in the whole B&B. Our rooms were very cold but clean. The Breakfast was big and ok but nothing special here as well. So friendly recomendations for the area or simmilar (pubs, restaurants, walks, sights,... nothing).

Oh dear, we are not sure what went wrong here as we are not used to this kind of feedback. We feel our warm welcome is one of our strong points, so are really sorry you feel there is no love in our home. We are passionate and proud of the stunning and special area in which we live, work... More

Alistar & Sarah were really welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and warm, breakfast was to die for and Sarah's home made cakes left in our room everyday were delicious! Had a lovely few days skiing and would definitely go back. Thanks again for making us feel really welcome in your home! Gil & Andy Blacklock

Stayed only for one night during a skiing weekend with hubby and 2 friends - wished we could have stayed longer! Easy parking on arrival. Warm greeting with tea and coffee, and great advice as to where we could have dinner. Double room for hubby and myself was large with enough space for our stuff. Lovely clean bathroom with hot... Stayed here with my boyfriend and puppy and the weekend. Such a lovey b&b and so welcoming and helpful! The room was perfect, had everything we needed, even a neat little cupboard which the dog box tucked into nicely. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for our walk up Morrone (sorry we lost the map!!)Would definitely stay again.

4 of us booked to have an annual Scottish winter walking trip. Very welcoming and comfortable B&B, good rooms, good lounge area with excellent selection of books and a great breakfast that set us up for the day. Both Al and Sarah are great people and we would definitely stay there again.
