I went to the Eilean Iarmain with my family for a Sunday bar meal. My family have always been fans of the hotel, as we come from a gaelic background and my father has had alot to do with the gaelic shoots there. It is a friendly place, however the food ruined the experience. I ordered scampi and chips, and... More

From the moment you walk in the front door the atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The location is very tranquil and there is a lovely walk to the end of the village. There is an excellent gallery space, boutique and whisky museum alongside the hotel, together with the cosiest pub in the Highlands, 'an praban', which serves great pub... More

The Isle of Skye seems almost another planet and, when you land there, you'll find no better place to stay than the Hotel Eilean Iarmain. We stayed in the suites, apart from the main building, but had complete access to everything going on there. The view from the suite buildings is, really, just amazing in scope and beauty. The mountains... More

The right type of htl for Skye but rather worn out. Restaurant is wonderful; having eaten a dinner and a breakfast we found both the food & atmosphere excellent. More

I went with my boyfriend and left with him as my fiance!! What an amazing place to get engaged. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. We stayed in a suite, which is seperate from the main hotel building and has stunning views, which we could not get enough of. The suite is on two levels- the ground floor has... More

We spent 3 nights here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was superb, especially the dinner menu. service at Breakfast was a bit erratic and slow, but we weren't in hurry and it wasn't a problem for us. The adjoining Boutique and Art Gallery were an added bonus. Definitely worth a visit. the location is beautiful More

Very romantic atmosphere with a great pub (we ate dinner there) filled with guests and locals and a lovely pier, right o the Sound of Sleat. Views ares... More

Had a few problems finding the place as it is somewhat off the main road. Once you get there, you will find a great looking hotel, a friendly pub, and a local distillery right beside it. Make sure you take a walk into the local seaside community. A bit pricey but worth it. More

We stayed here with two other friends and were very well looked after. The food is delicious ,especially the very fresh sea food , if you like that ,but also lots of other choice . We had an excellant dinner and a very indulgent breakfast, and lunch in the bar. Also sampled the great local whiskys and local beer. Friendly... More

We toured the coast of Scotland during May staying one night in each hotel and this is one of the hotels we stayed in - This was a mixture as the hotel itself seemed very nice and their food was top class but again the hotel was full so we had to stay in the annexe across the way. It... More
