This hotel situated in an idyllic position, with warm friendly and professional service, outstanding restaurant food and accommodation with a wonderful homely feeling. We would recommend anytime. Only wished we could stay for very much longer. Feel revitalized and we definitely look forward to visiting again. More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in January. The weather was cold and wet, but the hotel was warm and welcoming, particularly in front of the log fire. The rooms are appropriately old fashioned and comfortable, and the staff very friendly with relaxed efficient service. Food was a bit mixed. Breakfast was good, and we ate each night in... More

We haven't stayed in Hotel Eilean Iarmain but have visited several times to eat in the bar on two separate short visits to Skye in December 2011 and January 2012. On the first occasion manager Neil MacDonald showed us round a number of the rooms, some of which were in the process of being painted and refreshed. They all looked... More

This beautiful little hotel was the absolute highlight of this Scottish journey. The staff were warm, friendly and very professional. Our room was spotlessly clean, charming and included lovely extras like a complimentary little bottle of whiskey and hot chocolate and herbal teas in the tea and coffee facilities. The attached pub was warm and friendly with great local pub... More

We only tried to have a meal here so cannot comment on the rooms. The location is wonderful. The problem was having walked to the hotel we asked if we could take 2 dogs into the bar as it was December and wet. We appreciate many do not want dogs in dining areas and were more than prepared to walk... More

The location is classic Skye... dramatic shoreline dotted with fishing boats in the foreground and the powerful Cuillin hills in the background. I stayed in late September and the Eilean Iarmain was not too busy which I preferred. My room was very, very clean, comfortable and cozy on the front side (ocean facing) of the hotel. The drawing room was... More

Lovely room with view on the Sound (a superior room), very nice personnel and very quiet. Delicious breakfast (a lot to choose of). More

We stayed here back in April and were blessed with wondeful weather. First thing to say is that this is a wonderful location, the views across the Sound of Sleat and up Loch Hourn are spectacular...so 10/10 for that. We stayed in a 'suite' across from the main hotel building, private with uniniterrupted, magnificent views but not particularly spacious. The... More

Just back from spending 2 nights at this delightful hotel in southern Skye. Beautiful location (even in the rain) with lovely views over to Knoydart. Our room was in the main hotel building and appeared to be one of the larger rooms at the front - comfortable, attractive decor and plenty of space. Furnishings all original to give it lots... More

We spent three nights in this charming and comfortable small hotel. We stayed in the suites which were super; peaceful and spacious with super views across the Sound of Sleat. Downstairs the small and tastefully decorated lounge was equipped with TV and tea and coffee making equipment. Adjacent to this was a beautifully decorated bathroom with everything necessary for a...
