All of the Macbackpacker hostels have a wonderful carefreeness about them. They are eclectic in there appearance and the staff in from all over the world and super friendly. The rooms here in Skye were a little small and warm but the location is great. Skye is so layed back. Met a lot of nice people from around the world.... more

This is a new independent hostel in Portree (apparently it was a fish and chip shop previously). It is small - with only 8 rooms (all 4 bed I believe).
