We enjoyed our 3-night stay here - owners are very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast with lots of options. Rooms themselves are typical size for European smaller hotels. Beds were comfortable. They offer small kitchenette with free laundry facilities for guests. Hotel felt very secure. More

The hotel was very easy to get to. It's very close to the bridge that gets you on the Isle of Skye. The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean and the owner is very helpful and super organized. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Lots of hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans), and as well as good assortment of... More

We traveled the UK for three-plus weeks starting in York, then to Edinburgh, Inverness, Isle of Skye, Keswick, Conway and ending in Chipping Campden. We probably were most impressed with the Isle of Skye over all the other places we visited; however, it is different! Forget about a bottle of wine at dinner because you will be driving a very... Stayed here 2 years ago in May 2009 with my now wife and sister. The B&B was very nice, there was plenty of parking nearby, and the hostess was very kind and hospitable as well as conversational in the morning. We really enjoyed our visit to Isle of skye and would definitely stay here again the next time we make... More

After staying at the White Heather Hotel last year, we opted for a week at Apple Blossom Cottage at Struan (about 1 hour from Kyleakin) which is owned by Gillian and Craig. Just as the hotel was perfect so is this cottage. The views are fantastic, the cottage itself is lovely and homely with all the "Gillian" touches, the tv... More

Wonderful hotel with many amenities. The rooms were very typical for Europe - small, but nice. It was nice to have access to the kitchenette where we bought food and heated in the microwave one night instead of trudging in the rain to a restaurant. Very kind owner with a very complete and detailed information/handbook for finding things in the... More

We stayed @ the White Heather hotel for 2 nights. We arrived late because I put the wrong gas in the car however Gillian was there to greet us even though it was after 10:00. We really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was great. I wouldn't recommend Salty Mary's but we had great meal @ a place I believe... More

Set-up of the B&B was perfect, with good dining room, good views, two lounges. Very friendly and helpful host (Gillian). Room was clean and well kept, but was small, bed was pretty uncomfortable and wireless does not work with PCs, sometimes with Apples. IMac is available though. Breakfast was fantastic! More
