The most memorable thing about this place was the complete lack of any welcome or warmth and a prevailing atmosphere of restrictions and meanness. We arrived and were 'greeted' by the landlady who gave us our keys and forms to complete about our breakfast requirements. We were told to make selections from one section only (not all three as some... More

This B&B was a disappointment to us. It looked nice from the outside and its interior was also quite promising. However, it was one of the most expensive B&Bs we stayed in, which was unfortunately coupled with the worst night of sleep we had. Beds were small, too lumpy, and the springs creaked with every move. The toilet was also... More

We spent a very enjoyable evening in this B&B. Nice decor, very clean and good sized rooms. The breakfast was too a good standard. Only problem with our room was the beds, they were not level and we kept rolling out! More

This hotel is a huge disappointment. Our family room was not up to scratch. The beds must have been 20 years old and had clearly seen better days. The room was also dirty. There were no towels which added insult to injury. The bathroom was a joke - it was basically a bit of partitioning thrown into the room which... More

The Atholl House Hotel, in the lovely village of Dunvegan was a great find. Run by Peggy Morrison, who made our stay perfect in every way. The hotel obviously has recently been refurbished and the standard of the rooms is very high. Along with the views from the dinning room and bar it was a great place to watch the... More

This hotel is vastly over priced. We stayed at the hotel over easter and were in what was classed as a Superior King room. The only servicing of the room was someone coming in and pulling up the covers on the bed. The rubbish was not cleared from the bin, the towels were not changed etc. At the price paid... More

We have stayed at this hotel twice and each time it has been excellent. The food is beautifully cooked and the menu is varied and interesting. The bedrooms and spacious and the furnishings are of a very high standard. We have stayed at other hotels on the Isle of Skye but now we would never stay anywhere else. Friendly, warm... More

This small hotel is in the town of Dunvegan, on the far side of Skye from the bridge. We found the rooms to be comfortable, clean - everything was just fine. Breakfast was tasty and filling. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge/bar at the end of the day, reading and enjoying a cocktail. Although we did not eat at the... More
