Very disappointed to find this probably once great hotel very run down. The rooms are spare and barely clean. The whole place smells moldy. We felt being unwelcomed, food was mediocre to greasy, and dining tables were filthy. The hotel staffs may be good people, but are sloppy with keeping customer requests, sloppy with money and sloppy with cleanliness. Bad business practice. This was my third annual visit to Duntulm castle hotel and again it has been an absolute pleasure. I have reviewed this hotel previously so I won't repeat my previous comments - suffice to say that the welcome is as warm and friendly as ever and the views are still the best I have seen in Skye, possibly in Scotland.... more
