From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Get a room overlooking the harbour - the sunrise is spectacular! Meals were scrumptious - def. the best place to eat. It's true, not everybody will be as lucky as we were. Having breakfast interrupted by four dolphins performing in the harbour does not happen every day even for guests of this fantastic small hotel. I stayed at the Tobermory Hotel with my husband and 3 children.We had one of the family rooms which was situated at the top of the hotel(room 16).We were very comfortable and there was plenty room with having a cot and pull out bed in the room but during the day the bed can be put away if you wish... more

Very disappointing experience. We stay in a lot of small hotels around the country and for the price, this one does not deliver. Don't be fooled by the cute external picture. Internally the hotel looks tired and the staff were inhospitable. Tobermory the village is beautiful and well worth a visit, just don't stay here. The food in the restaurant... more

Right, before we begin, a word to the wise. Tobermory is dear. Just to let you have an idea the local pub sells you a glass of wine for £4.60, and a pint of Guinness for £3.10, which in terms of Glasgow prices is simply an extortion.
