We stayed in Am Bothan (Sand Street) for 6 nights. Superb location within easy reach of Stornoway town centre but just enough privacy and peace and quiet too. This little hideaway is perfectly located to travel all around Lewis and Harris and is a delightfully safe and cosy place to return to at the end of a busy day walking... More

We felt totally at home within minutes of arriving and thoroughly enjoyed our short break. The house is very well appointed and furnished to a high standard with a delightful pony living next door to keep the kids happy. The beaches on Uig and Harris are truly spectacular if you are lucky enough with the weather. Stornaway is very close... More

Stayed at craigroyston. Warm welcome from morag and much appreciated early access to house after 3.30am start. The house has everything you need. I loved the full length windows all around the house so no matter where you were you could see triple/quad aspect windows. Fab place to spend a sunny day or just relax and listen to rain and... More

We have just enjoyed our second visit to Metagama Lodge and as before we have had a wonderful time. Morag and Graham could not have done more to make our stay special. There is so much to see and do on the island and the views can not fail to impress. If you would like to see some great photographs... More

A very comfortable house with plenty of room and great position alongside a working croft which had new born lambs. Excellent position for walking in to Stornoway and near great beaches as well. More

We recently stayed at the Metagama Lodge. This accommodation was BEAUTIFUL. Not only was this because Metagama is a very spacious and homely lodge but also the quality of everything was excellent! These lodges are very professionally managed by people who clearly know about good quality and service as they had thought of everything and were happy to help with... More

This brilliant house was an amazing base for a fantastic holiday on the Isle of Lewis. Weather was superb ...even able to have a couple of barbies on the decking at the back of the house! During the stay we found some amazing beaches and wee art cafes and it was great to come back to a property which had... More

Craigroyston Lodge. This is a stylishly appointed and very warm and comfortable holiday home. We had a fabulous time on the island. The hospitality we received, from Graham and the team, was genuinely warm and sincere. Nothing was too much trouble! Fortunately the weather during our stay was great - despite the forcast. Everyone told us to take no notice... More

Hebridean Luxury Holiday Cottages, mainly based in Stornoway, are an excellent place to stay. They are truly 5 star accommodation and the service from Graham, Morag and the team was second to none. Right down to being given coffe and bacon rolls when the ferry was delayed in the morning. Everyone takes a personal interest in you and your holiday... More
