Clean and warm. Excellent shower room, comfy bed, brill breakfast, friendly local folk in charge. If I was being critical the only complaint was the room was a little small, but it was a single after all. More

An unexpected work trip to isle of Lewis involved longish stay at "the Heb" which I can say excelled in looking after us work weary. Joan who was looking after premises on behalf of proprietor went the extra mile(s) to make sure our needs (comfy bed, hot water, filling breakfasts and even doing our washing!!) were catered for. Well done... More

A real gem; friendly and helpful owners who give a lovely welcome. My room was slightly small but beautifully furnished, with nice tasteful touches. A spotless bathroom with plenty of light. Great breakfast too! More

Stayed 5 nights, very clean and comfortable, with excellent hosts. Breakfast was wonderful especially the coffee. They couldn't have been more welcoming, even when returning with muddy boots! Would recommend highly. More

Arrived on the 9pm ferry and stayed only one night. Room was small but it did not bother us. It was super cozy and felt like home. The bathroom was small but very cleverly done. Very modern and chic. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast was perfect. Thanks to Linda for letting us borrow her map! We'd love to... More

We stayed one night, as planned. The room was small (as European rooms tend to be) but the bed was very comfy. Wood wardrobe had a funky smell at first, dissipated once we opened the bathroom window and had the fan going. Plenty of storage if one is staying longer. Bathroom was roomy. Both bed- and bathroom were very clean.... More

We stayed in Hebridean Guest House only one night during our trip in Outer Hebrides (Isle of Lewis and Harris). We arrived in Stornoway very late (after 11.00 pm) because of a ferry breakdown; the owner was already advised about this problem and at the moment of our arrival he woke up and showed us the room. In spite of... More

We found the accomodation fine. Not overwhelmingly wonderful, but adequate. The room was small but the bathroom is very large and very well appointed, it was the bathroom that attracted us to this facility as it reads marble and tile and new fixtures (which it had)however, what is gained in a splendid ensuite is lost in room space. Very tight... More

Excellent accomodation, parking no problem, extremely clean, comfortable and well decorated rooms, owners could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order and special requests accommodated. Short walk to town centre and close to parks for children. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Guest House in Stornoway, will definitely stay again! More
