I'm a carer, and booked a 2 night stay in the Ailsa suite, the stay exceeded our expectations,..The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us.My client is wheelchair bound, this was not a problem,in fact i'd say the staff went over and beyond the call of duty.nov is two nights for the price of one,so we choose a great... more

This was our first castle experience so cannot really compare it with anything else. Some aspects reached our expectations whilst others did not. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when visitors were crowded onto the forecourt and a music presentation was taking place. Getting to our parking space was not easy and entering the castle with cases in tow and... more

My wife and I stayed at Culzean for 2 evenings in early September for a special occasion after she had toured the castle two years ago. The high nightly fees for the Ailsa Suite were not commensurate with the service and facilities provided which were alluded to in websites and brochures. This Scottish National Trust Property does not have a... more

We spent 2 nights in the Ailsa Suite in August 09 and our stay was a truly amazing experience. Everybody can see from the fotos in the web that Culzean is a beautiful castle set on a breathtaking scene (directly at the cliffs). The inside and the wide gardens are as beautiful as the catle itself. (we spent 1.5 days... more

We were amazed that this gem had remaied relatively unknown in our circle of friends. Our party ranged in age from 6 to 70 + and we were welcomed to the Eisenhower Apartment of Culzean by staff we had met the year before -always a good sign- and were instantly made to feel at home. During our stay we had... more

If you're looking for a romantic and unique getaway, a night in Culzean Castle is the only way to go. while expensive, staying in this beautiful castle is a most amazing experience. The room was incredible and comfortable. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast just as good. The staff, mainly Michael, are an incredible group of people. Michael went out of... more

Want to feel like a king or queen? Try this place! We did and while it's costly, it's worth treating yourself. When you check in and Fi (your hostess) provides you with the keys to the castle, you're on your way to a day and night you'll long remember. The grounds are just incredible, with wonderful gardens, lush green lawns,... more

We stayed for our anniversary in the Ailsa Suite. We arrived before check in, so we spent the morning exploring the grounds around this castle. The walled garden is spectacular, and if you are adventurous, do the cliff hike and head down to explore the caves. Bring good walking shoes. At check in, we were greeted by our host Michael,... more

Imagine a romantic castle perched on a clifftop with views out over the scottish isles. Throw in total silence except for the gentle noise of the waves lapping on the shore below when you open your window. Add staff that are sooooooooo friendly you want to take them home, stir in some historic atmosphere and you really have a perfect... more
