Not many motorcycle types were at the Torridon but wanting a bit of comfort in the evening after a day in the saddle the Torridon Hotel hit the spot. Looked forward to this three-night stay after searching web and Tripadvisor reviews. Reality was below expectations - great location; fine old building but staff / service miss the x-factors and let down the package. This country house type hotel made for a wonderful stay during a trip to the West Highlands in Scotland. The main house of the hotel has the look of a castle in some ways...with the mountains and loch it takes your breath away as you drive up to the entry. The fantastic reviews are what led me to book a one night stay at the Torridon. The location is stunning and the service was excellent.
