Log fire in reception wonderful welcome. Sparkling wine in ice bucket in room,as it was my wifes birthday, lovely touch. Great dinner, well designed menu, seasonal Scottish local produce. Good selection of wines and whiskies. Hotel will arrange out door pursiuts, could not do enough to accomodate us. We will be back. Nice romantic getaway. more

We stayed three nights as part of our UK tour - Coul House is located in a wonderful part of Scotland. Its owners, Stuart and Susannah, emphasize quality of service and food, and they and their staff delivered perfectly during our visit. more

Very nice building and magnificent fireplace in reception. Beautiful dining room. Room was not as nice as public areas, but was still pleasant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice grounds and pleasing views. more

Three days spent at Coul House Hotel after reading recommendations of previous guests. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean - bed 5* for comfort and the Gilchrest & Soames toiletries wonderful. We stayed at Coul House last weekend as my sister and new brother-in-law held their wedding reception here.
