We spent a lovely evening here with my family who were visiting from the States. We felt right at home and were made very welcome. I would love to go back up for a longer break and take the lovely walks around the area. Highly recommended. Ohh Ken loved talking to the turkey ;-)

Stayed here back in June. This is indeed out of the way and secluded but it was a pleasant location and not too far from the town. Whilst some aspects of the room and en-suite were on the average side the bed was good, the breakfast was good the hosts were great. And their black cat was lovely and friendly.
