We stayed at the hotel over the weekend of 11th & 12th February. The only saving grace for the hotel was te cleanliness of the bedroom. The staff were at best surly and very bad mannered. The bar was only open when it suited the staff and when we resorted to taking our own into the lounge the staff were... More

Oh dear. Normally one welcomes critical feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve the service for guests. However, I view your post as petty and vindictive and, for the first occasion ever, I reject your feedback. Please allow me to explain why... I was in the hotel during your stay. I am tempted to launch into a passionate defence... More

We spent our wedding anniversary here for 2 nights and I can honestly say, we were VERY impressed! Alina (the manager) went out of her way to make us very welcome and organised some lovely flowers for my wife. Our room (10) overlooked Loch Ness making our morning wake up delightful, The room was traditional for a Scottish country house... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We are all delighted you enjoyed your stay. It is so nice of you to personally feedback on the staff and service - it makes their long hours and tireless efforts worthwhile. You were delightful guests and we hope to see you again sometime. Best wishes, Alan More

We stayed at Inch last weekend (28.1.12) it was a lovey base for our trip around the highlands dinner was very good and the staff were friendly and helpfull. The traditonal Scottish breakfast were 1st class. We stayed in room 4, which was a little dated, but clean and very warm. We would certainly stay there again. More

A January trip to the Highlands may not seem the most sensible idea, but our welcome at the Inch Hotel was as warm as we could have wished, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this characterful hotel. The location is spectacular, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The ambience is relaxing, and this is a hotel that understands... More

I have to say that our time spent at the Inch was really memorable. We enjoyed every second of it. It was our first time in Scotland and we loved it. The Inch is a very cozy place, which made us feel like home. The room was very spacious with a huge bed (the bridal suite) and it had everything... More

We stayed at the Inch for 2 nights in late November. The hotel is situated approximately 1 mile from the centre of Fort Augustus, which is accessible on foot via the path situated at the end of the hotel car park (to avoid walking on the main road). Unfortunately the weather was poor for the duration of our stay so... More

What a wonderful Christmas location for an American family of 7 that spanned 3 generations. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem. They welcomed one of our sons who arrived from Korea in the middle of the night and drove us to Church on Christmas morning. There was traditional Scottish cuisine presented with good humor... More

What a FANTASTIC time we had a the Inch Hotel. We stayed for three wonderful days at this beautiful, welcoming hotel on the shore of Loch Ness. Marion (not sure if I've spelt his name correctly) and his staff looked after us so well. I've stayed in LOTS of hotels and this one comes highly recommended by me. The Hogmanay... More

I am not one to write reviews very often, but felt compelled to write one on my return from my stay at the Inch Hotel. Well, I say stay, but it was more an experience and a fantastic one at that. Stayed for the Hogmany break, and what can I say, everything about the hotel is brilliant. Well done to... More

We stayed at the Inch in August on a Groupon offer as I had never been to Loch Ness. It was a nice enough hotel, full of tartan & dark wood. Our room was very basic & tired but other rooms looked to be much nicer. The food for both dinner & breakfast was very nice but we did have... More
