Mine host, the food, the staff, the cleanliness was of a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble, effortlessly, everyone went out of their way to ensure we all had a marvellous time. We were on our way back from a wedding on the west coast to Edinburgh and had booked in advance. We weren't expecting much as we had booked at late notice but were pleasantly surprised the service was great, rooms clean and food was excellent. On a week-long driving tour of the Highlands this was by far our favourite place to stay. Run by a lovely and incredibly hard-working family, with huge rooms, comfy beds and great showers. This is a 3* hotel with 5* cuisine. There is nothing pretentious about this hotel at all.It is a small family run place with friendly staff.the place is absolutely spotless,no mod cons,but more than adequate fot the traveller.
