Very disappointing, great location and views and very clean, but the room was cold the one small radiator in the room was ineffectual and only every luke warm. The water pressure was very low and it barely trickled from the shower. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal menu was straight from plastic bags from the freezer - poor quality.... More

Room okay, but hotel lacks Highland hospitality. Food from microwave., poor menu and bar over priced. Would not go back More

Pleasant, friendly welcome on arrival. Room was comfy and a good size with clean bathroom. Location is fantastic for a walk along the shore. Great sitting room also offers a brilliant view of the sea. Breakfast was good but dinner was usually re-heated frozen food. Vegetables in particular could have been much better. Stay in the hotel but eat elsewhere! More

We could not reach Brora, on the East Coast of Sutherland, so we stopped en route and by chance found this little and cosy hotel, in an otherwise quite grim village. Tha Hotel is clean and beautifully located by the sea. It has its own parking plus plenty of places just accross the road. THe room was correct, quite modern... More

This hotel is better than some supposedly "high class" hotels and the rates are good. Our room was very clean and well appointed. There was a good choice of tea, coffee, etc. in the room and there was even an electric blanket provided. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We will be back! More

we stayed one night last week, lovely setting by the shore. Room was clean and comfortable . Lounge spacious and lots of books to borrow, as well as usual TV and a bar with an outstanding range of Malt Whisky. Breakfast was fine. Conveniently placed if travelling further North. Recommended More

We booked online about 6 months in advance (in February). When we paid, the holder told us that we had to pay 3% more also using the debit card. This is absolutely unfair. Moreover there is no indication of this surcharge in the internet site of the hotel, differently from other B/B were we stayed in our holidays in Scotland... More

A group of 6 golfers stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The hotel is in a lovely location, overlooking the sea and well located for our golf trip (Brora, Golspie, Dornoch). Rooms were good and the hotel comforable. The downsides were the lack of flexibility on breakfast timing which for us meant only cold breakfast when we were playing 2... More

Great location and outlook. Dinner menu was either re-heated from frozen or deep fried. Breakfast was fine. Owner has a dog that seeks attention by barking, and occupying the bar seating. Not everyone's taste in entertainment. More
