We stayed with Nigel & Stella for one night and were made to feel at home. We received a warm welcome and our double room was immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep, and we loved the little extras such as Stella's home baking and the fresh milk in the dining room fridge for our... More

Clare, Thank you for your lovely review, so glad that Bruce brought you along on this trip rather than his golfing buddies!! The fresh milk really does make a difference to a good cup of tea and makes a good addition to a bit of Stella's home-baking! No problems with loaning out maps and advice on local walking routes, not... More

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at Galvelbeg House. Everything about our stay was perfect. Nigel and Stella are very warm and welcoming and our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had lovely views across the valley. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. But it's the little extra touches which make Galvelbeg... More

Muriel, Many thanks for your great review and so please you enjoyed your mini-break with us. Crieff really is a great base for exploring the local area, North, South, East & West!! We never get tired of the views across the Strathearn Valley to the Ochil Hills in the distance, it was one of our main reasons for moving here...... More

Gary, Thank you so much for your glowing review! It looks like we definitely ticked all the boxes as far as room, breakfast & views were concerned. It is so rewarding when people take the time to tell others how they enjoyed their stay and to recommend us to future guests. Many thanks Nigel & Stella More

our stay was so easy as we were allowed to check in 4 hours early to allow us a rest before going to a funeral-we were up at 4.30am and had the snow to contend with on our 7 hour journey on putting the kettle on which is always my first stop i also enjoyed some home made shortbread provided-should... So glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at a difficult time for your family. We are happy to be flexible with arrival times as long as we get plenty of notice, whether it's for a funeral or wedding, or even if you want to get your bags dropped off early and make the most of your stay in... More

A warm, friendly welcome! Comfortable en suite rooms. Delicious breakfasts. We stayed here because we travelled with dogs who were welcomed too, and provided with dog blankets and personalised treats!

We have just spent two lovely nights at Gavalbeg House. Nigel and Stella were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the Easter buns in our rooms when we arrived and the breakfast was one of the best that I have had - locally sourced ingredients, home made granola and a lovely view of the Ochils from the breakfast room. We stayed at this guesthouse at the weekend primarily because it was dog friendly (1-2 March) and I really liked it. Two minutes walk into the centre of Crieff and a stones throw from a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Just spent a very pleasant weekend in Crieff and spent the night at this nice B&B.
