The hotel wasn't busy when we stayed. I think we were the only guests, although the restaurant and bar were certainly busy. I can't say our room was exciting but it was certainly perfectly adequate. The Pierowall Hotel has more of a feel of a large B&B than a hotel and this gives it more of a personal edge over many UK hotels I can think of.
