I love the Corrie hotel, though I've never stayed there we often spend evenings there whilst on holiday on Arran. Neil and Maggie are wonderfully friendly so it really does feel like you're at a friend's home. The bar is very well stocked, including the wonderful Arran ale, and is very reasonably priced. The addition of a log fire, pool... More

It's not modern, it's old and has oodles of character and for the pair of us is a slice of heaven. You go there for its great food, helpful staff and the very friendly owners who will more than give you the time of day, which is more than can be said for your modern 200 room hotel. It has... More

My room was ok, with a big, comfy enough bed and a seaside view. But the bathroom was really second rate, with a dirty bathtube and the strangest shower I had ever seen (and it wasn't even working). The service was goo and the stuff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok, but the buffed was cleaned by the stuff... More

This was the first stop on our costal path walk, disappointed with the room, no shower only bath with tepid water, towels stained, no hair dryer or toiletries and general decor shaby,,, but the staff and owner were very attentive and helpfull (good advice about the coastal path) and the food surprisingly good. despite the lack of hot water and... Had a one night stay here recently. Its saving grace was the fantastic location and suprisingly the excellent evening meal served in the bar. However, the place needs an overhaul to say the least.,its shabby ,bare and nothing in the way of toiletries in the room ,which we would have expected for the price we paid. It badly needs some... This is the third or fourth time we've stayed in Corrie (close to Brodick and the ferry but more charming IMHO). Even when we're not staying at the hotel we enjoy cozying up in the lounge bar or taking advantage of their tasty pub lunches. Neil is a great owner/landlord and we've always been treated really well by all the... More

Great stay once again - lovely family, warm welcome. Always made to feel so welcome - weather mixed but it is west scotland. Venison sausages - fantastic!! Great advice for hillwalkers - comfortable rooms - one of the residents (john - him and his wife have been regulars for over 10 years) spotted a minke whale!! a red squirrel hung... More

Stopped here for a meal and was not disappointed. Fantastic location and choice of more communal bar with youth-club atmosphere, and ordinary bar which was no frills but comfortable. Excellent menu with reasonably-priced but superb local fare. Had the wonderful venison sausages on a plate piled high with nourishing veg. Friendly but unobtrusive service made the visit a pleasure.

Friendly family run hotel with a welcome bar! Neil, the landlord, has excellent stories from his role in the Arran Mountain Rescue Team and is happy to share them! I have been going to Arran for 31 years and this is a favourite spot for a quick pint or if your really lucky a local knees up!
