Had our wedding here back in November 2012 (sorry it taken a while to leave this). The hotel was just perfect for our wedding of 90 guests, as it has a cosy homely feel with the open fires and comfortable lounge area. In the run up to the wedding the staff were very friendly and always dealt with every enquiry... More

Greeted by a very pleasant receptionist on our arrival. Stayed in the Glennan suit which was very nice & a good size, as it is in the original part of the building we even had our own turet. The grounds are lovely & it was nice to be able to sit outside & enjoy a glass of wine. Had dinner... More

The room was very good, but had a shower, no bath. The afternoon tea was a good balance of sweet and savoury and the right size. Local produce starred on the menu and it wasvery good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfasts were excellent. The grounds were nice too

Called in to The Ballygally on our way to Portrush , thought might be a pleasant place to stop for lunch !!!! greeted by an unshaven though polite barman / waiter who appeared to be on his own ??? Menus delivered quickly although drinks took a while and my drink appeared to contain what seemed to be flat lemonade !!!!... More

This hotel/castle was all about the awesome location. The story and the castle part was cute but not scary. The breakfast buffet was good. The garden was beautiful! The downfalls were the dinner, my husband ordered the fish and it had bones, lots and it was a fillet...? The rooms were not air conditioned, which you wouldn't think you would... More

What a fantastic gem of a hotel on the shores off Ballygally. Travelled here with a friend and what first class treatment we had you couldnt have got better from any 4 or even 5 star hotels in the surrounging areas. From the greeting at reception from Paul, Taylor and Scott to the beautiful service received in the restaurant from... More

Ballygally Castle was an experience all in itself. The rooms where clean, plush, and gorgeous. They had that old world charm without sacrificing any comfort. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was the best we had during our entire stay in Ireland. The breakfast that the Garden Restaurant does is spectacular and delicious. I don't know how... More

This fairly small, historic hotel was our first stop in Ireland. The room was comfy, so quiet, two great nights' sleep! Food was wonderful, had one dinner and two breakfasts. The fish and chips were delicious, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding--well, it was the best I ever had! The area is incredibly scenic, quiet (no nightlife), and near to trains... More

We had a great stay here. The staff was exceptional. The location was great and the views were breath taking. Our room was perfect, large comfortable bed. The area is awesome and only a short drive to Belfast
