What a wonderful place this is! It was so friendly with great homemade food. The room was lovely with a nice big bathroom. The locals make you feel so welcome & at home. More

Great little B&B / small hotel in West Bay 2 miles out Bridport. Very friendly staff, excellent home cooked food, 100 yards from harbour and seafront. Good pint of Doombar and friendly locals. Nice comfy bed, even if en-suit was very small, excellent value for money. Would recommend. More

Very friendly, great food, but thats it. The rooms are terrible, and the bathrooms are worse. The door was so stiff we couldn't open it from the inside - fire hazzard. the en-suite was tiny and the shower disgusting! More

This business is basically a pub in the guise of a b&b. The bar downstairs gets packed with locals at night meaning parking problems for residents, being stared at when you come in as they don't recognise you and lots of noise (and smell of cigarettes). We had a room on the top floor however the whole downstairs and stairwells... More

This hotel has so much potential but is seriously in need of a facelift. My friends and I paid a quick visit to the bar 12 months ago. I say quick because we walked in and straight out again. We found ourselves stopping one night here recently because it was the only guest house with vacancies within a 25 mile... More

We stayed here last weekend on the top floor suite. We were immediately welcomed & shown to our room which was very comfortable, clean with a flat screen tv / dvd. Plenty of hot water and clean towels and bathrobes. We had a very nice full English breakfast sitting in the sunshine on the decking the next morning. The Guest... More

We received a warm welcome after a long day walking a section of the South West coastal path The beer was good. The food in the restaurant was very good. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a small en-suite shower room, bur we also had use of another shower room and bathroom down the corridor, Very good value for... More

We stayed in the Durbeyfield for one night last weekend. The most recent reviews suggest a marked transformation since the new owners have taken over, but to be honest we found the B&B sub standard and very tired and dated looking. Our room was OK (recently re-painted) but furniture was of a poor quality and shower pressure was sporadic. Our... More
