This is a delightful hotel in a delightful town. The staff are warm, polite, friendly and welcoming. Its is exceptionally clean and tactfully refurbished throughout and the room we stayed in was roomy and well laid out. The guest lounge is a very attractive and comfortable room, and there is a wine bar in the basement. Breakfast was quite substantial,... More

Found this hotel on trip advisor. Stayed Sunday to Thursday. Double and single room. Our son was given a double room at no extra charge on arrival. Our room 9 overlooked the park and was a nice room. Bed not particularly big and thought the quilt seemed too small. Flat screen T.V , tea and coffee , plenty of toiletries... More

We stayed one night in the coach house when visiting relatives close by. We also aranged Sunday lunch in the restaurant. Lunch was better than I have had for a long time. The menu was broad and for a change I opted for fish. Cooked to perfection, as was the other meals. Our 3 yr old was warmly welcomed and... More

Stayed 1 night so had modest needs. The room ( no 2) was a little bit small but very nicely decorated and clean. En suite was fine. Bed very comfy with quality linen. The place feels well cared for and looked after , despite the current ( invisible to us) building works. Service was efficient and friendly and the breakfast especially... More

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home straight away. We were in the family room at the top of the hotel which was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with the option of outstanding locally smoked fish which should really be sampled by anyone staying... More

We arrived at the hotel, hoping a room would be available. We were met by a lovely woman who was very welcoming and got us checked in quickly. The room was great, very comfy. Didn't hear any traffic noise or anything from other residents. We arrived late for breakfast and the kitchen was closed. The staff were fantastic and made... More
