My wife and I had our 40th birthday party at Lifton Hall Hotel, and what a fantastic night! The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. A few guests stayed the night at the hotel, and they all commented on the warmth of the welcome, and relaxing environment. more

A great place to say in this quiet village with very friendly staff, excellent food and comfortable rooms. Super cycling in the area and a great farm food shop up the road too. We will very likely be returning and may even try out the new Thai massages on offer. Recommended ! more
This was our second visit to the Lifton Hall Hotel, we went to celebrate our wedding anniversary in September. Fabulous food was enjoyed by us both, especially the garlicky mushroom topped with asparagus and parmesan - de-lish. Mains were just as good, and as a veggie often have to put up with tired lasagnes, but the choices here are superb.... more

It is rare to find a hotel these days where the staff will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and go above the call of duty. All the staff we met were so accomadating, helpful and happy!!! I would definately 100% advise anyone to stay here. more

We stopped here overnight on our way to deepest Cornwall and can't recommend the hotel enough! Our room was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Food was excellent and all the team were very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!!! more

We decided to stay at Lifton Hall as recommended by our friends and it turned out to be one of our best hotel experiences. On top of the perfect setting (in the beautiful and peaceful little village of Lifton) and the charming 400 year old building, we were made to feel really welcome in what was a perfect home-away-from-home atmosphere.... more
