The Stag Hunters Hotel is located in a deep valley in a tiny village. The location is just beautiful. Steep hills either side make the drive down and up very interesting. This hotel exactly meets our requirements, being in a picturesque riverside location, with good walking countryside all around and it is dog-friendly. We found the present management very welcoming and plenty of good food was provided. We shall certainly go again. more
