Beautiful house with lovely bedrooms and a great vibe. Bedrooms were beautifully furnished and every single small exact detail had attention paid to it, beautiful place. Both the hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home wonderfully, a very attractive landlady too. me and my friend couldn't have wished for more after a long day of cycling. if... More

I stayed for one night in the double (the room at the top of the stairs) and it was a lovely stay, exactly what I needed after a long drive. It was purely a stop-gap between the Cotswold's and Cornwall and whilst I stayed at 4 places during this 5 day break-away, No.59 was the better B&B! Our host was... More

We were there for 2 nights on our way to a wedding in Cornwall. If we hadn't the need to travel on we would have loved to stay longer. The Hosts are a wonderful couple. The kind of people that you could quite easily become friends with. The area of course offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Okehampton has a... More

Our 2 night stay at Number 59 to celebrate my husbands birthday was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Ali and Andy, and they really made our stay memorable. The rooms are luxurious and the location is ideal, as you are a stone's throw away from the centre of Okehampton, and you can be walking on... More

From initial telephone contact right through to our departure, Ali and Andy were the perfect hosts. Their tastefully decorated and wonderfully inviting home is the ideal location for easy (walking) access to the historic town of Okehampton. Everything at No. 59 is immaculately clean but nothing is clinical, practical yet personal. This ideal balance is a credit to Ali and... More

I stayed here on the second night of a ten night Lands End to John O'Groats cycle. I am disappointed to say that the quality of this place sets the bar so high that anywhere else is likely to be a disappointment. We were warmly welcomed, and directed to the shed around the back with our bikes. Dropping them off,... More
