This is a surprise hotel as it offers guests far more than might first appear and mostly these are good surprises. Its on a hill but then most of St Peter Port is, but from this small hideaway you have unique views across the town and to the sea. The private garden is a treasure overlooking the city and where... We stayed two nights here in September, 2011. The only negative thing is the walk up the stairs to get there! The room was lovely, breakfasts among the best we had on our trip-very fresh. Nice, quiet garden. Bathroom quite small, but had everything we needed. The honesty bar was a good place to get a drink before going out... More

We have stayed in this lovely hotel between 4-7 August 11. The room was nice and clean although very small. However for a few days break it is good enough. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is nicely decorated with a nice garden and only minutes walk from the centre, with amazing views! We stayed in room number 14... More

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and the staff were unfriendly and robotic - like. It was quite surreal. The room had the most AMAZING views and also had an excellent selection of teas, coffees (instant) and hot chocolate. There was a fridge which was very useful and it was silent which was good! In the bathroom there... More

Well placed quiet hotel with clean room and great views. Excellent breakfast - a good deal all round. I went with five friends and we had flown with hand luggage only - easy to find. May not suit those with heavy suitcases and would not be recommended for wheelchairs - (access via steep steps) but if you are looking for... More

This was a very nice comfortable hotel, very pleasant staff, large choice of food for breakfast.. The steps are steep but definitely worth the climb. The hotel is convenient for a variety of Restaurants on the sea front. Only down side is that at the weekend the town did get roudy late at night but this didnt last for long... More

The Sunnycroft Hotel is great. Make sure you ask for a double room and a seaview to maximise your experience. The price is good and it includes a full breakfast (both cooked and continental). The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms aren't massive, but perfectly adequate and the double beds are comfy. The views are wonderful and the... More

This hotel is Tiny but lovely, the interior is newly decorated in a modern style and the staff are lovely. We asked for a double with a seaview and wow what a view of the sea and the town. The room is a little small with a tiny bathroom, but it was still enough for us with a chair to... More

Traveling on business I booked two nights in this hotel at £40 per night for b & b. The website photos were lovely. Upon arrival I waited for ten minutes at reception despite knocking on the proprietors quarters door. I was allocated a single room. I couldn't believe it. The room was like the end wedge of the building that... More
