My Husband and I spent just a couple of nights in this hotel and found it really lovely and comfortable. We had a room on the first floor facing the front, although we only booked a room without a seaview, so this was a little bonus. The bathroom was modern and clean - unlike many hotels we have visited in... More

Stayed here during the Tennerfest.Food and service was excellent. Our room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable. Also, plenty of pillows available! A rarity, these days. On the downside, there was no wi fi in our room or the residents lounge,as advised but managed to pick it up in the restaurant. The t.v. In the room couldn't pick up all the channels so it... More

I have now stayed at the Dolphin on several occasions both solo and with family. It is an extremeyl friendly place with excellent service. A major plus is that the staff do not change so you can get to know them quite well. I can turn up after six months and Deogo knows exactly what to put on the bar... More

We did not stay at this hotel but walked in for an evening meal in their restaurant. It is like walking back in time as the furnishings & decor are very dated. However, we thought that as long as the food & service were good, then our surroundings would not be too important to us - as we were very... More

The dolphin hotel is the best pub on the island. Big bar good service plenty of seating small eating area which does a really excelent T Bone steak and not over priced. On the Friday I went there was live music. Bus stops outside and the last bus is about 11.30. Excellent night out.

We booked the Dolphin via Laterooms.com and stayed there earlier this week for a 3 night short break. Stunning location just under Gorey Castle.....the setting which seems to be the iconic touristic image of Jersey. We were on b & b basis. Excellent breakfast - all waiter service, rather than buffet style. Rooms had recently been re-furbished with new en-suites... More

Stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to Jersey. Managed to park in the public car park in front of the hotel - but this can get busy (parking is via a 'scratch card' which you can buy from the local shops - however a VERY nice gentleman gave me one gratis when I enquired where I could buy... After visiting the Durrell attraction we went by bus to Gorey. It was a beautiful day and the little pier was very crowded - too many big cars for not enough small spaces and lots of people spilling on to the road, so sitting outside was not a particularly enjoyable option. We went and sat inside the restaurant . It... More
