We have stayed here a lot, while visiting family nearby. Never had any issues with rooms, always spacious and clean. Some fixtures are a little dated but this is not a source of issue. Our stays culminated with a stay in the suite for the night of our Civil marriage. The suite is enormous, plenty furniture, old style tv (a... More

It is the only hotel in NCW. Very good basic motel. Clean and a good value. Nice pub and restaurant attached. Family rooms are quite large. More

I stay in the Courtenay with my family when visiting my folks and the Courtenay always delivers to our requirements. I have stayed in the Courtenay about 7/8 times and have never had any issues. The staff are always very accomadating and friendly. More

Booked this hotel for family funeral in the area. Found staff to be more than helpful. Room perfect, roomy, ample clothes space, dressing table, lovely bathroom with toiletries which was generous as have stayed in some 4* hotels recently where NO toiletries were supplied!! The breakfast was very tasteful, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit, yogurts, cereals, the usual. The only little... More

Staff were very kind and welcoming, especially Marie who was very helpful. It is not the fanciest hotel in the world but the staff and good food make up for it. More

Great location but hotel room was filthy. Carpet was covered in dried in yoghurt, bathroom was covered in black mould and coffee cups were filthy. I was down for family funeral and was not in form to kick up a rompas but I will definitely not be back. More

While I've never stayed at the hotel, I have eaten in the bar attached to the hotel and always found it quite nice. Lately however I was delighted to see that it has been refurbished since mid Feb (so have some of the bedrooms I'm told). I've eaten here a couple of times since and cannot recommend it enough -... I'd travelled through the night and arrived about 10.30 a.m. feeling pretty exhausted but was greeted by a friendly receptionist who quickly found me a "serviced" room. Having stayed in this hotel many times, I'm never disappointed but it's beginning to look somewhat tired. The basic cleaning of the rooms is good but the carpets could do with a good... More

Stayed here April 2009. Staff not very helpful . alot of noise coming from overhead rooms..... rooms very basic and very pricey for what i would describe as a low budget motel .. .It is the only hotel in the area which may be the problem. More
