Totally ignore the negative reviews , where do these people think that they are staying , The Dorchester? If you want a typical Irish experience then give it a go . A family group of us stayed for a wedding in August and from Rachel and her team in reception, Deirdre in the bar which has great food and is... More

My husband and i and our two sons booked a two night break through supervalue in this hotel, we got a family room with a view of a flat roof with the kitchen extractor fans, curtains were hanging off and a trickle of water from the cold water tap in bathroom. Part of the stairs going up to our room... More

Went with my wife for a midweek break after Easter taking advantage of a package offered by this hotel. This was the biggest mistake I have ever made and I would advise other travellers to simply avoid this establishment. Our room was not hoovered and the carpet looked as if it had not been hoovered for many days. The bedding... More

This hotel needs a wake up call!! Big time!! No one to greet us at reception. After ringing the bell a few times some one finally arrived to check us in, no apology for delaying us, no welcome, nothing. Just a scruffy gruff lady in ripped jeans and a rubgy shirt slapped our keys on the counter. I had to... More

A "deal" - bed & breakfast with evening meal for €160. The bed linen was clean, except for dried milk stains on the press. Gorgeous Location. Awful food. Nice Waitress. Awful place with little or no standards.

The room was small and shabby, which can be excused as I got the weekend break with Supervalu points during their Weekend break sale. However the mold in the bathroom was disgraceful. I emailed both Supervalu break provider and the Hotel. At least the provider got back to me to say contact the hotel. Never heard back from the hotel.

This was a stop over hotel as we travelled through Ireland. I wanted to do some family research in a town nearby called Mohill, which is the reason we chose to stay here. The rooms are terrible and the bathroom was full of mold. The hotel was very noisy because there was a wedding on although they never notified us... More
