We booked a weekend at very short notice and had a great time. There is always something going on here or in close proximity to the hotel. Staff very pleasant and courteous, and rooms clean and comfy. Great dinner as part of 2 nights b and b plus evening meal. A very pleasant weekend - again! More

For the seciond time in three months we had a meal in the restaurant. As usual the food was extremely good. the seafood chowder was hot and filled with seafood. The steak was one of the best I ever had and we both left completely full and satisfied. service was both considerate (allowing us to pause between courses!) and of... More

Called into the Malin Hotel on Sunday for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The decor in this hotel is just beautiful and is more like a country house in many ways. Everyone was very happy with their lunch and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Thanks to all!!! More

Service & staff were excellant. Our second visit on 16/8/11 there were 7 of us, same order & again a fantastic meal. Will certainly go there... More

After traveling 3hours to get to the malin hotel we had to wait an extra hour for our room to be ready (even though we were told check in was at 2). After reading the reviews before we came we expected friendly staff with a bit of Craic, this expectation wasn't met. The waitresses during the day were very unenthusiastic... More

Although small in size this hotel is big in heart. Staff are excellent and you may find the same person working on reception, serving breakfast and doing anything else that needs doing but that is part of the joy of this little boutique hotel. We have just returned from a break around Ireland and having stayed in five different hotels... More

We arrived at approximately 4:00 PM to find our room ready to go. The price of an afternoon snack was reasonable. The first night we ate in the restaurant and while there was not enough staff to serve the amount of people the food was great and the price was right. More

Stayed here for one night for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The hotel had a lovely feel from the moment we went in and was made even better when we were told we were in the bridal suite!. We hadn't asked for this but it was a lovely surprise and the bathroom was fantastic especially the bath, which... More
