Of all the B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland, we enjoyed our time at Lisdanar house the most. The hostess could not have been kinder or more accomodating, and when it came to helping us with our itenerary and travel directions, she really exceeded expectations! The food was excellent, the room very comfortable, and the house is within walking distance... More

I've stayed at Lisdanar House twice over the last few months. Amazing house, great rooms, wonderful breakfast, and even more important: an adorable host. This is the kind of place where as soon as you leave you are already thinking of when you'll be back! It's by far the best B&B I've stayed in.

I did a tour with Ireland by bike and stayed at Lisdanar house. All B&B's I stayed at were great, but this one was outstanding. A beautiful house, big rooms, the best breakfast & afternoon tea and scones. Rosaleen embodies Irish hospitality at its best.

Arriving soaked from cycling, we were greeted with hot coffee, amazing scones & Rosaleen. It is worth staying here just to meet Rosaleen. She is hilarious to talk too, very kind, she dried and washed our disgusting wet things, even socks, entertained us and gave us great breakfasts too. The house is immaculate & comfortable. Her dedication to the Donegal... More

Prior to staying at Lisdanar we stayed in a four star hotel and I must say that our stay with Rosleen far excelled the former. The rooms was super clean, with modern decor. The higlight was our host Rosaleen, who welcomed us with open arms. She went above and beyond for us, even providing my partner with a Donegal flag... More

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at Lisdanar. The accommodations are spotless, roomy and up to date. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Rosaleen is the perfect hostess and so helpful and knowledgable about the area. We loved her Irish charm and friendliness. If we get back to Donegal, this is the place for us.

One of the best B&B we stayed in, in IReland, for value, size of room, cleanliness, lovely hostess, breakfast. The room was very large. In a lovely area. For us, we did not book ahead for our trip in June, and were able to find B&Bs as we went as it was not high season. A great way to travel!

My sister and I have just returned from a delightful stay in Lisdanar House with the most wonderful hostess Rosaleen. We have returned to this B & B on a yearly basis since our first discovery. There is no question of staying elsewhere. From the moment of arrival, greated with tea and home made scones, Rosaleen's hospitality gets better and... More
