My husband and I live in the Nashville area but wanted to plan a weekend away from home without a lot of travel (and to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary). With only a 25 minute drive it was like we landed in another world! We booked 2 nights at the Inn and spent most of our time relaxing on the... More

I was recently a wedding held at this venue. The venue is beautiful. Unfortunately the owners didn't live up to the venue. The lady "directing" the wedding was unorganized. The "gentleman" was discourteous, unprofessional, and borderline verbally abusive. Two examples. First, after one of his horse owner tenants verbally abused one of our decorators the "gentleman" dismissed our decorators concern... More

The location is BEAUTIFUL but Sherry and Dwight are EXTREMLY rude people. They were VERY hateful to the bride and the groom in front of everyone. They were very rude to the family members of the bride and groom..including the groom's mother. Their rules are very strict and THEY GO BACK ON THEIR WORD. They told the bride she could... More

DETERMINED TO DO IT THEIR WAY! When I meet with a bride for the first time, I'm upfront about our expectations for the event, even before they book with us. I also tell everyone at the rehearsal the night before that only the bride, bridesmaids, mom, coordinator, and ONE photographer are allowed in the house as we usually have B&B guests, and... More

This is a beautiful venue that we used for a wedding reception. Staff were very helpful and great to work with, but the food was terrible! The wedding cake was included in our per-person price ~~ it was dry and everything we wanted for decorations were not included, so we got a plain white cake that we had to add... More

I wasn't even going to respond to this one because it is so ridiculous, but I'm getting weary of people who act like they are pleased with everything and later resorting to cowardly reviews. This mom never expressed any dissatisfaction with anything to me. She ordered Marinara Sauce, which doesn't have meat in it. Ask any restaurant! She communicated with the... More

My friend and I each own Tennessee Walking Horses as was in TN for a vacation and to watch a big Natural Horsemanship event. We chose this place originally because of they had TWH and the location. We were immediately made to feel comfortable upon entering. This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and we were a little concerned... More

We were married at the Inn in October 2010. There is absolutely nothing that could have been done better. It was the most perfect day! Sherry steered us in all the right directions, from the chaplin, to the DJ, to the cake/cupcakes it could not have been better. Dwight went above and beyond, cooking us a wonderful reception dinner complete... More

Our "girls getaway" trip to Franklin, Tennessee was wonderful, due, in part, to the hospitality we received at this B & B. Sherry and Dwight were lovely, gracious hosts, their property is beautiful and peaceful, and Dwight is an excellent cook. He served up fabulous southern breakfasts each of the three mornings we were there. Some of our favorites were... More

I had my wedding here in October 2010 and it was the most beautiful ceremony I could have ever wanted. Not only are the owners genuine and courteous hosts, but the venue is absolutely beautiful in every way. You can't beat the surroundings: rolling pastures, open skies, and beautiful trees are all around the beautiful quaint house! For weddings, they... More

We just returned from a week at the Inn at Walking horse Farm...and it was wonderful! Three siblings, spouses, one niece and spouse gathered in the "hills" of Tennessee and were treated to scrumptious breakfasts and a house that was simply MARVELOUS! Our hosts were a delight...attentive, but not overbearing in the least. If you are looking for true relaxation...this... More

The grounds are a beautiful backdrop of Franklin. The horses throw you off to what you will find in the back of the house for a perfect wedding site. With all that said I would not recommend using this site because of the people running the place. If our experience is any indication on how they treat people I see... More

The Inn at Walking Horse Farm is a family owned business. This means my husband and I operate and take responsibility for the weddings held here. For over 13 years, brides seem to appreciate the fact we allow them to customize their weddings according to their preferences and constraints. Unfortunately, the wedding reviewed ran into a financial one. Based on... More
