I had a non smoking, one king bed room on the 2nd floor. The room was exceptionally clean, and its smell was very pleasant. The bedsheets were clean and the bed was OK. The old style TV had at least 60 channels from the local cable company. The bathtub/shower is about ready for replacement as it had a few spots... More

We were traveling cross-country and this was in the right location. Access was easy, right off the highway. Staff was friendly enough. Breakfast was good (including waffles.) Room was adequate, but something is wrong with the flooring on the first floor. It appeared to be wood, not concrete, under the carpet, and there were definite weak spots. Termites or water... More

My family and I were traveling and happen to stop in Cookeville, Tn. at the Days Inn to be exact. The staff and accomidations were great, easy access to all restraunts and right off the main road in town where there were plenty of stores in which all the staff were quick to give directions or help out in any... The room was nice, the rate was cheap, and the staff was great! There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance and waffles for breakfast. More

It is true we have stayed at dirtier motels. But this location is certainly not worth the stellar ratings given by others reviewers in my opinion. The A/C air return is clogged with dirt, the bedspread was ripped, the "flat screen" TV described by another reviewer is a "flat screen" old fashioned tube based television (no problem with me, but... As my husband and I were moving across the country from Boston to Phoenix we needed hotels along the way. These hotels had to have a) a bed, b) a shower, c) a place to park a 16' box truck towing a car on a trailer. Plus it needed to be inexpensive because we knew the budget for gas was... More

On May 28 my wife were involved in a fatality accident in Crossville Tn. our car was totaled we did not have many people to help us, so we were left without a vehicle, and an endless amount of people to call. When the staff at your cookeville location heard of our misfortune, an employee or owner offered to fill... More

The Good: The hotel was in a convenient location. We wanted to see a movie that night and the theater was just down the street from the Day's Inn. There are lots of restaurants near-by like IHOP, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Starbucks. The room was fairly quiet although in the summertime the air-conditioner noise helps to drown out a... More
