My wife and I stayed here on our trip through Tennessee and were pleasantly surprised. It looks somewhat out of place in it's location in the city but it is a beautifully restored boutique hotel with a unique charm. Our room was huge and very comfortable with a small veranda and a small sitting area. Bed was a little soft... More

We stayed here for a wedding with an entire wedding party, extended family etc. I believe We took up the whole hotel. What a great experience! Excellent service especially at the restaurants downstairs! I don't think I made it down for the scheduled breakfast once and when I went downstairs and asked food options someone went into the fridge and... More

I have stayed here with my wife on several occasions using her name and address, and recently, felt compelled to write about the Inn. This Inn is charming, unique, very clean, spacious, does have creaky floors, has a great restaurant, has wonderfully charming employees who work tirelessly to make everyone's stay enjoyable, and is the best value in small boutique... I stayed here after learning about this Inn from eating at TerraMae from a previous visit to Chattanooga, and gave it a try. I found the Inn to be super clean and well maintained. The room has historic signifigance but was not expecting the Taj Mahal. I was pleased, traveling alone on this trip. The baths were spacious and clean,... More

My husband and I like B&B's because we like the adventure of finding character and unique and the Stone Fort Inn did not disappoint. It is in an old building in the business district, close to the electric shuttle, walking distance to the downtown attractions and lots of restaurants and so full of character. The floors are the original hardwood... More

We normally don't head north on mid week get aways but this time we did and we are so glad that we chose Chattanooga and the StoneFort Inn! The owner was in town and helped us out at breakfast, but he didn't really need to be there! The staff was great at breakfast, and the personnel at the front desk... More

We came during the mid week because the rates were a little lower after having read about the StoneFort Inn in Travel and Leisure Magazine (well it was a blurb in the May issue). We really weren't sure which Inn to stay in for our little mid week get away, but we are so glad that we chose the StoneFort... More

I guess the best way to describe our stay is to cut and paste our e-mail to the management, To whom it may concern, My wife and I recently stayed at your property and I must say we were somewhat disappointed. Although the building and common areas were very tastefully done and most pleasant, there seems to be a need... More

My wife and I were planning to spend a few days in Chattanooga to sight see. Selected the Stone Fort Inn based on Tripadvisor write ups. Small hotel located in downtown Chattanooga on East 10 th. It is a fairly old hotel that is under upgrading. Rooms are large and provide all the necessary amenities. Some rooms have small balconies.... More

We decided we wanted to stay at the Stone Fort Inn as we'd seen good reviews in a couple of hotel guides. Me and my fiance were doing a road trip through Tennessee. We didn't call ahead to book, instead we literally just turned up at the hotel to ask if they had rooms free! Although the staff initially looked... More
