We usually stay at Hampton Inns, but they were full on the night we went through Rapid City, so we got the last non-smoking room at this Holiday Inn Express and were very pleased. The only minor issue was no coffee packets, although there was a nice kitchenette with micro wave, fridge and coffee pot. more

Stayed two nights at this hotel. Room and bathroom spacious and clean. Hotel personnel friendly and helpful. Better than average breakfast for this type of hotel: the usual cereals, muffins/toast/rolls, juice, coffee, etc. Plus scrambled eggs (and sausage, biscuits, gravy although we didn't have these), yogurt, bananas. Would stay here again if in this area. more

We found the hotel and rooms to be very clean, nicely decorated. The bed was a bit soft but to each their own. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions, events and such. The continental breakfast was outstanding!! To our surprise it included egg/cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits & gravy and much more. Dennys did not have anything... more

Normal HIE, friendly staff. Breakfast was same as other HIE's. Good restaurants nearby, Easy Interstate access. Easy jumping off spot for Mt. Rushmore. Will return. Pricey, but it is a tourist area. more

Stayed here after not being able to get into the Marriott Fairfield. I couldn't have picked a better place for the room. Helpful and friendly check in staff on arrival. Room was large with comfortable beds. Bathroom excellent with plenty of large fluffy towels. TV/CD player. Quiet location. Handy to a number of restaurants. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Very reasonable price. Lived up to the standards that I expect from HIEx more
