We were tired of driving and Murdo seemed liked the right stop. Our stay at this hotel was fine. Clean rroms. One level--doors open to parking area. No smoking in rooms. Staff was friendly. Cost about $82. More

Just a quick stopover for us during a 3 week road trip. The room was very small but clean. We thought there was an odor but the odor was from the outside area farms and it worked it's way inside. The a/c helped out. Numerous flies are in the area this time of year so keep your door shut. We... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Murdo. It was clean and nice. The staff were friendly. The room was somewhat basic, but that was to be expected. We missed the breakfast because we were out of our room too late for it, so we cannot rate that. My husband enjoyed the bathtub immensely. More

We were thrilled to have see the frig/micro as standard. Our AAA rate was $89 -- a bargain compared to the $199 we paid in ND and Montana at AmericInn. Plus, dinner at the Buffalo Bar was fabulous. I don't know what the reviewer was talking about who said the room(and bathroom) were the smallest she's been in outside Asia.... More

After a long day on the road this was the perfect place to stay. The rooms are updated, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room did need some airing out but that was ok because I wanted to hang outside for a while anyway. The front desk recommended Bullalo Restaurant for dinner and it was a good recommendation. More

This is a very popular Best Western motel. It was clean and extremely efficient. It had to be. This was the smallest motel room I've seen outside of Asia. The bathroom was so small, you felt like you were on a cruise ship. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was surprised to find that the breakfast room was actually three or... More

Their web picture gives the impression that this is a two story hotel, but really it is an old style, single story motel that you drive right up to your door. Standard motel breakfast with a few hot items. Breakfast area is kept clean and tidy. Rooms are old but clean and well maintained. Murdo is very small but have... More

The hotel was very clean, convenient, and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Deb Faber). We would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers in SD. One of the nicer ones we stayed in on our trip-especially for a small town. More

Room clean and ok. We travel on I-90 ever year and usually stay in Mitchell. This trip, we spent one night in Mitchell, room was $93.00, one night in Murdo, room was $125. Gas in Murdo was 20 cents more per gallon than any other gas station we stopped at. Dinner cost more too. I am thinking that Murdo is... More

Small rooms, nothing special. Booked Queen beds, got only full. If you can, go to the Landmark Inn south of I90 instead. Cheaper, bigger, cleaner and the pool is WAY nicer. More
