This was a great hotel for our visit to the Black Hills. It is centrally located to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse so we were not spending a bunch of time in the car. It is also about a 30 minute drive to Rapid City. We stayed in the suite room which was great. There were 6 of us and... more

The room was clean and the settings was real nice and peacefull, I really like the small old town feeling and the clear air. It was close to every thing and the saff was very nice and the food was good but best of all I found Rassberry Honey and that topped off it all. more

It was o.k.

We had a dog and were put in what I thought must be the oldest part of the motel. I guess for what we paid I expected it to be a little nicer, since we weren't in the height of the tourist season. It was clean, though. The grounds had a nice little sitting area and a pet station with... more

We had a very large room with 1 private bedroom, 2 doubles and kitchenette. It was very roomy and comfortable. It was in the same building as the indoor pool, which we also enjoyed. The office and restaurant were across the parking lot. Food was pretty good but wish they would've had a discount for hotel guests. The location was... more

We found the room that allowed pets very clean and nice. We traveled with 3 dogs and didn't have any problems. The beds were firm. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the pet area. I was under the impression that the area was fenced in. We ate at the restraunt the first night for dinner and had breakfast... more

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Mt. Rushmore. The beds in this hotel are horrible. I don't know how anyone can sleep on them. The walls are paper thin and we heard every single person that passed by our room. The location is not that great, given that just about every single restaurant/store was closed for the season.... more

They were out of rooms so we were upgraded to a suite. The room and bathroom were large and clean. The front desk staff was helpful. I would stay at this Best Western again. more

This was a really nice motel. The rooms were clean and overall the staff was very friendly. The nice thing is that they had an indoor and outdoor pool. The motel was close to attractions and there was a grocery store next door. We would definitely stay there again. more

The grounds are beautiful. Nice indoor/outdoor pools. Our major complaint was because we paid over a hundred dollars a night we expect comfortable beds and they we about the same as sleeping on the floor. The food in the resturant was OK but the service there was poor. They had enought people working but they didn't seem to know what... more

The location was very convenient and much quieter than the godawful Keystone area. What a relief to see the Golden Spike after seeing some of the other places I had contemplated. The pool was a bit disappointing with a bandaid in the pool and one lying on the deck. I was really wanting to relax in the jacuzzi but after... more
