This was our second vacation in Deadwood and we stayed at the Hampton this time. The service was fantastic, and the room was very comfortable. It even had windows that would open. This hotel also has a casino and a buffet restaurant. It is at one end of the street and there is either self parking or valet. I would... more

The Hampton Inn is really the most underrated hotel in Deadwood. The location is a bit of a walk, but definitely walkable into the main street "action" of Deadwood. The rooms are nice, and the beds are really comfortable. The place smells good and even though there is a casino on the main floor you really cannot smell the smoke.... more

We booked two nights in Deadwood. Had wonderful accomodations, good breakfast, and great service. Paid the $5 valet parking fee for the security. Staying at the end of the main street is quiet and the casino is open, light and clean. This is a great place to stay and enjoy the surrounding attractions during the day and the casinos at... more

Super nice place. This Hampton was withing walking distance of all the fun and happenings and on the main street. Excellent "FREE" breakfast. The elevator was kind of slow and we had to wait longer than we like but overall this is a very nice place. There was ample gaming on location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.... more

Stayed one night, thoroughly enjoyed the casino and the friendly folks there. The dealers were quite chatty, very personable. Table limits nice and low, spent the evening playing $2 Blackjack and nickel Video Poker. Room was nice, it was quiet even though we faced a busy street. Just what I would expect from Hampton, with the added bonus of being... more

I'm sorry that the other reviewer had a problem here, it can happen anywhere, but truthfully there is nothing wrong with this place. It is a typical hampton inn, with nice sized rooms, a nice large bathroom, updated, with granite counters, and tub surround. I was on the highway side, as someone else had been ,and complained about the noise.... more

Checking in was a nightmare, the front desk person was a young man whom was confused about where we were suppose to park to start off with, we asked for vallet parking and he assumed we wanted to park on the sidewalk in front of the hotel..so listening was a bit of a problem. I was not impressed with the... more

The hotels in Deadwood are really only after one thing. That is your money in their casinos. That being said you would have though that the Hampton would go out of its way to be more attractive than the rest but it doesn't. It is an "OK" hotel with an average free breakfast and free internet. Dont expect anymore and... more

Located at the start of Deadwood's strip of fame. New building with typical Hilton chain facilities. Room size is adequate and well appointed. Like the ability to open the window and let the fresh air in. Didn't eat at their restaurant nor did we gamble at their casino. Friendly staff at the front desk who were helpful. Parking is free.... more

The Hampton Inn was a very nice hotel - what you'd expect from a Hampton. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had granite countertops and a granite tub surround. The air conditioner in the room did not work, which was disappointing. Parking was a problem with limited space and a long walk. The hotel does offer valet parking... more
