We arrived during the worst thunderstorm we have ever experienced. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good and offered a good choice of fare. This is a good choice of hotel whether you are passing through or want to discover the historic town of Sumter. Given the horrible reviews and some of my own bad experiences with the hotels along the I-95 exits in North Carolina, we decided to try something a bit off the main drag for a change on our way north from Florida. Wow! What a breath of fresh air! I travel alot for business, and for the price this has been my best experience. Very clean and looks new! The staff is very helpful and friendly, what more could you ask for! more

Spent one night at Sleep Inn-Sumter. Place was just fine, very typical Sleep Inn digs. Clean and well taken care of. A little hard to find as it is located behind the Comfort Suites with a smallish sign. Plenty of nearby restaurants. more
