We booked 10 rooms for our Family Reunion at this hotel for the Memorial Day Weekend 2005. The pictures they use to advertise IS NOT the same hotel. All of the rooms are on the exterior and there is no elevator. There is dog doo all over the walkways and the hotel cleaning staff walked around the stuff several times... more

I have to admit, I should have known I'd be getting what I paid for!!! This property is QUITE inexpensive for the Charleston area, but OH MY GOD I wish I would have paid more for a better place. Booked this hotel on a trip to Charleston, SC. Had never stayed here before. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was very nice. We stayed 5 nights. Everything you could want. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a good location. Couldn't have asked for more. We will be staying there again! more

Nothing spectacular.We asked for a non-smoking room but it clearly had been occupied by smokers. Room was acceptable but not oustanding. All rooms opened to the outside --not interior halls as the picture indicates. Ok for a night but not for an extended stay. more
