Should have read the reviews. This hotel is basically a construction zone. They have torn down half the hotel and are replacing it. The pool is gone. The lobby in the pictures is gone. We stayed for one night, this is all it took. There was an unmade bed, Only one towel one wash rag. No coffee or filter. I went to the office I was given the coffeee and the filter, but when it was time to make coffee there was no coffee cups. No soap in the room also. The T.V did... more

Unfortunately, I didn't see the previous review of this "motel" until afterward. Things haven't changed in two years. The room I saw stank of rotting carpet, the ceiling over the shower was hanging down about 2 inches from water damage, mildewed and rotting, and there appeared to be dry vomit on the carpet and baseboards. My wife and I had the displeasure of staying at this run down facility 6 miles north of Charleston, SC in June 2003.
