Stayed 7/28-8/01. This was my first time camping. We stayed in a pop-up with three children. I can only say i loved it. The pool was very nice and clean. Bathhouses were clean (and cleaned every day). The sites very very nice and large. Not to close. Staff very friendly. NO GOLF CARTS!!! except year round lodging which was great.... more

Booked a 20 day vacation here over the Easter Break period. Never been here , didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Will return again & again. While there, we toured the 4 others in the south myrtle area.although nice, the Travel Park was for us. Very pleasant staff, very clean bathhouses, fact is everything was like new... more

Very nice resort! We were "upgraded" at our request to a beach-front site. Each site has a picnic shelter on it. This was great! Bring a few tarps and you can block the wind and rain on the sides. We came with an older model pop-up trailer. I think there were only 5 pop-ups in the entire campground! This campround... more

This campround is the place to stay if camping at MB. I have stayed at most of the other campgrounds and now stay here whenever I can. You can get a spot just over the dunes from the ocean, by the lake, or up in the shade of the trees on the uphill side of the lake. The people are... more

This was our first experience camping on the beach at MBTP and we had a hard time figuring out which campground to stay in but MBTP was our choice and it was the right choice. Our sites was in the middle between the beach and pool complex. The sites are tight but everyone was there for fun. They provide nice... more

I love this place. I travel there every year with my parents. I'm seventeen and I would recommend this place for families with teenagers or small children. I know I've had no problem meeting a bunch of new friends whom of which i'll never forget and i've even got two that i meet down there every year usually about may... more

Upon our arrival for our weeks vacation, we were directed to our camping site by the counter staff. Although they were nice during our check-in, there seemed to be some infighting amongst the three girls at the counter as we asked for directions to the Carolina Oprey. After receiving different direction from different counter help, I was given a map... more

This place is fantastic! I was trying to decide between 3 campgrounds on the beach. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I chose Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We walked down the beach and looked at Apache which was another I had been considering. I would have been terribly disappointed if I had chosen Apache. Sites are difficult to get... more

My parents bought a 5th wheel about 13 years ago so that they could camp with my aunts and uncles. They started coming to MBTP because all of the relatives bragged about the facility..with good rights. They have been going for several weeks for the past 13 years. They invite me and my siblings on a rotating basis to join... more

I went to the park with my family ( husband me and my 2 girls age 8 and 3 ) for our first camping trip. I have nothing less than a great time. Loved the on site store, the pool area ( inside and out ) was awesome.... the beach was nice and calm. I had a great time. I... more
