This should be rated a one star hotel. I was so disappointed! The room smelled horrible and there were roaches in the bathroom. We upgraded to the Caravelle Resort, which was a little better, but not much. I was also disappointed with Myrtle Beach, having been my first time there. more

St. Johns is a wonderful place to stay. They have wonderful rooms and staff. If you have any problems, they will try to fix them right away. Great place to stay for families, couples, students or anyone with pets at an affordable price. more

I have stayed at the St. John's Inn 2-3 times and all were excellent! With wonderful decorations, non-smoking or smoking rooms, just a walk from the beach and most are near the huge pool, St. Johns is simply THE place for a family vacation! This hotel was a little disappointing. The rooms were fairly clean, however we did notice that the maids hadn't swept underneath the beds. We found peanuts underneath them.
