We had 4 people in the unit- 2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 child. First the bad stuff (none of which was too bad.) The set up of the kitchen cupboards was difficult for a short person. Most of the cupboard that held the glass was unreachable by someone under 5'9" without a chair and even then was a hard reach. The pool was not heated (but that didn't bother the kids!) The keys kept demagnetizing and to get them replaced you had to drive a bit. There was no internet available in or near the units. The only other negative was we did the timeshare tour of the management company's other property and had the stereotypical timeshare salesman who twisted the truth (or outright lied) but we were expecting that. We were not expecting that the free gift they promised us for coming in had a $250 price tag attached. So BEWARE of Spinnaker's (Southwind's management co) sales team. Also while on the tour of their Waterside property, we got stuck in their elevator. Doesn't sell their maintenance... more
