The best part of the breakers is it's right on the ocean. We stayed in room 426. Supposedly could sleep 6 people. We were 4 and it was a tight squeeze. Nice clean unit. Wonderful view of the Ocean. The bed and furniture was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great. we stayed in unit 107 (advertised on vacationrentals.com as unit 879). to say we were disappointed is an understatement. upon arrival, the place was very unclean. there was chipped glassware, blood on the bedding pillow, sticky kitchen counters, bodily hairs in the tub, etc. further, the online ad promised a queen size bed - it was a twin size bed.... more

We were told 3 times on the phone that there were elevators at the Breakers by Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island! The website, www.hhivacations.com did not say anything about elevators at the time. Since our visit, they now do.
