I stayed there for the weekend and was able to obtain a room on the penthouse level. The view of the river is excellent and is located right by Savannah highway 17 - very easy to get to Folly Beach or downtown. The roads are a little crazy by the hotel - a lot of one ways so had to... More

We are currently here in Charleston on a combined business/pleasure trip for 5 days, and were assigned to stay at this property. We weren't quite sure what to expect, as the exterior design appeared to be an older Marriott property. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the lobby and saw the Chihuly Glass and Chihuly inspired wall covering in... More

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of Nov 12th for a wedding in Charleston. Everything was very clean, however, our room was damp. There was condensation on the inside of our windows and our drapes were damp. The room just had a sticky feeling. The greatest part about this hotel is that it is very convenient to downtown... More

This is a very well decorated hotel and the Staff is very helpful. We stay for two days and everything was perfect the whole time. We will stay there next time we are in Charleston. More

We stayed 4 nights at this property to enjoy Charleston and attend the Preservation Society's walking tour. John, on the concierge level, was just the best. He saw to our every need in the evening EVEN helping the four of us find a pleasant spot to play bridge. That is certainly exceeding expectation! Michelle was just charming in the AM... More

Hotel was nice. We had breakfast each day and the service was wonderful. We were given a harbor side room. When we got up to the room all you could see were the very tops of the mast. I think on our next trip to Charleston we will go back to staying in the historic district. More

We got a room with a river/downtown view as high up as we could. Room was clean, well appointed and in very good condition. Access to downtown only 5 minutes away. View was very nice. Pool area looked great and along with fitness room. Free parking was a great bonus! Staff very accomodating and friendly. Very nice experience. More

Lynn and I recently stayed at the Charleston Marriott for 3 nights. The Marriott was the headquarters hotel for a Reunion of classmates from the Class of 1964 from Stranahan High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The hotel offered all of the conveniences. Our room was immaculate. Food in the restaurant was excellent. We included breakfasts in our reservation. Service... More

My fiancee and I were in town for a long weekend for a friend's wedding. It was the first time in Charleston for both of us. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We do a lot of traveling and this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in in quite awhile. From the minute we walked into... More
