Charleston is a charming place with plenty to see and the Ansonborough Inn is the ideal location from which to go out and explore. My girlfriends and I stayed here for a bachelorette weekend getaway, and we found the accomodations to be perfect. The loft style in the "premium loft" rooms provided enough privacy and the great location made it easy to get to the spa (Earthling), market, and restaurants! We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful inn. I liked it because it was different from being in a chain hotel as it had its own personality, kind of nautical/pre-revolutionary with original oil paintings everywhere.
