My boyfriend and I recently went to Charleston for the first time together. We had such a wonderful time and a lot of that was due to Palmer's Pinckney Inn. The staff went out of there way to make sure we had an incredible time. We were late on our check in and they made sure we were still able... More

Who knew that visiting Charleston mid week in October would be such a challenge.... We were finishing plans for a trip to Nashville - Chapel Hill and the NC Outer Banks, and my beloved husband said, "I've never spent much time in the south....never been to the Carolinas. I'd love to go see Charleston." DONE! Easy, right?? NOT.... With 3... More

After Checking in the reality hit. This was a mistake. The only good thing I can say is good location even better office staff. I agree with the other visitor, rooms are furnished in early garage sale. Even the television was a 12" tube type tv that you couldnot see due to the bad picture and the small screen. The... More

The Pinckney's staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was perfect; from the beautiful antique furniture to wine glasses waiting by the bed. One of the best parts about the Inn was its location - right off of Market and Bay streets, we parked the car and walked to everything; restaurants, nightlife, the battery, and... More

The Palmer Pickney is very strange... but very well located. The rooms are early garage sale! We stayed in the Equestrian Room and all the furnishing were very rough. The writing desk, when pulled out to address a note, had old cell phone numbers written on a label. The magnifying mirror in the bath had the price tag half removed, shampoo... More

The good....the location of this B&B is great. We were able to park our car when we got there and didn't move it until we left. We stayed in the Bombay room which was adequate for us. There were definitely some small things in the room that could have been touched up like the wall paint and the grouting in... More

Ants in bathroom, dogs barking all night, dirt and sand on floor, holes in bed sheets, smells of cats and horse manure(between 2 horse barns) Staff not helpful and inexperienced. Don't waste money. Best Westernn nicer and equal money. More

My husband and I loved our stay at Palmer's Pinckney Inn. We chose it primarily based on the price, the location, and the fact we could bring our Shih Tzu (we never leave her behind!) and we made the right choice. A few of the pros... 1) Parked our car when we arrived and didn't get in it again until... More

Great location, central to most of the good restaurants etc... The staff was nice enough. On the first night of our stay the owners adult son (who is not an employee) used his key to come into our room and "crash." It was just after midnight. The only thing that kept him from coming all the way into the room... More
