Although Charleston itself was beautiful and worth the visit, the hostel was not what I expected. Although the kitchen and living room areas were cozy, the dorm style bedroom was very small and cramped. During the day the hostel seems fine, once the sun sets it's a whole other story. Everything was cheerful, clean and bright. We were comfortable, near everything we wanted to visit, and we loved the historic setting. We were welcomed warmly and felt very much at home. more
